Difference Between Virus, Worm and Trojan | Total Security


Hello readers of my blog, on these festive New Year and Christmas days, in order not to load you with complex information, I decided to post a warning article on the blog. An article to help you avoid infecting your computer.

Worms, viruses, and Trojan horses are various types of malware that often cause damage to your computer. Knowing the difference between them, you can reliably protect your computer from their malicious actions.

What is a Virus?

The worm uses files from your computer, which allows it to travel unaided.

In connection with copying the worm, it turns out that it takes up quite a lot of RAM, as a result of which the webserver and individual computers stop responding.


What is Trojan?

The Trojan is unlikely, as is the mythological Trojan horse for which it is named. Primarily it will seem to be useful software, but in fact, it causes colossal damage after being typed or launched on a computer.

Those who open the Trojan are usually mistaken in thinking that they are getting legitimate programs or files from a legitimate source.

Sometimes Trojans do little harm (they can change by adding strange icons), or they can cause major damage by deleting files and absorbing information about your system.

Trojans are known to create a back door on your computer, which gives attackers access to your system. Confidential or personally identifiable information will be compromised.

Tips for fighting viruses, worms, and Trojan horses on your computer. Update your operating system. Install a Total security antivirus. Use a firewall. It is a system that prevents unauthorized use and access to your computer.
