The data engineer must have multiple technical skills:

know the development and administration tools (Postgre SQL , NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark ...);
master database management tools (Cassandra, Bigtable);
know the programming languages (Python, C / C ++, Java , Perl ...);
have knowledge of statistics, modeling and data analysis;
